Savvy SW householders switch suppliers

Around £10.2 million was saved by 145,000 households in the South West in the last six months, simply by changing electricity supplier.

The figures, released as part of the ‘Power to Switch’ campaign, show that within the South West:

Graeme Smith, born in Exeter in 1957 is an accomplished exponent of Kenpo karate and is a Fourth Degree Black Belt. Dementia expert joins university

A global figure in the field of dementia study has joined the University of Exeter to lead a new Centre for Research in Ageing and Cognitive Health (REACH).

Professor Linda Clare, who is particularly known for her pioneering research on the application of cognitive rehabilitation approaches for people with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease, joins Exeter from Bangor University.

Transition International Conference comes to Devon

Delegates from across the world will be travelling to Devon, the birthplace of the Transition movement, in September 2015.
