Contract for city dining quarter awarded

Aviva Investors have awarded ISG the contract to create a unique dining destination in the heart of Exeter. The £12 million project sees the redevelopment of the neo-classical Guildhall in the city’s cultural quarter into a series of high-specification restaurants, as well as the reconfiguration and improvement of public realm space. Apple Pay coming to the UK

Apple has announced that starting next month, Apple Pay will be available to customers in the UK, bringing them the easy, secure and private way to pay.

Whether buying groceries, grabbing coffee, picking up lunch or taking the Tube, UK shoppers will soon be able to make many of their daily purchases with Apple Pay. At launch, over 250,000 locations will accept Apple Pay, with support from eight of the UK’s most established banks, across all of the major credit and debit card networks.

SW jobs optimism among best in UK

The jobs market continues to thrive in the South West, according to Manpower, the world’s workforce experts. With an Outlook of +9%, a two point increase on last quarter, hiring intentions in the region stand well above the national average of +6%.
