Exeter Library is gearing up for an action-packed weekend full of fun and frolics, with the annual Fun Palaces celebrations. Fun Palaces is a free, nationwide campaign taking place on 6th and 7th October 2018.

Libraries Unlimited, the charity responsible for running Devon and Torbay Libraries is committed to providing culture for all, and this year 31 of the charities 54 libraries will be holding their own free Fun Palaces for all to enjoy.

Let's Rock Exeter returns to Powderham Castle for a fifth year on Saturday 29 June 2019.

With a fabulous line-up of artists bringing you the very best of the 80s and an action-packed day of retro madness, there is plenty to do for everyone at this family friendly festival.

Billy Ocean will be headlining, with another big act to be announced before Christmas.

The line-up also includes Belinda Carlisle, Nik Kershaw, Go West, Hot Chocolate, Snap! Thomas Dolby, The Real Thing, Betty Boo, Johnny Hates Jazz and China Crisis. More acts are to be announced in December....

Family Law Chooses Citizens Advice Exeter as Charity of the Year

The Family Law Company has announced that it will be supporting leading local advice charity Citizens Advice Exeter over the coming year.

The company’s branches in Exeter, Plymouth and Taunton will all be fundraising for the charity, through events such as skittles, bake offs and cream teas.

CQC rate South Western Ambulance Service's care as outstanding

England’s independent regulator of health care services the Care Quality Commission (CQC), has rated South Western Ambulance Service (NHS) Foundation Trust (SWASFT) as ‘Good’ in their latest inspection and ‘Outstanding’ for being ‘Caring’. A charity beer has raised an elephantine sum for wildlife conservation. Bays Brewery helped generate £3,282 by selling a special beer – Trunk Ale - on behalf of wildlife charity Paignton Zoo Environmental Park.

Paignton Zoo supports environmental education in the Omo Forest of south-western Nigeria, where the elusive forest elephant still survives. The Zoo has been funding work there since 2008.

Educated Recruitment conquer Exmouth 10k

Educated Recruitment conquered the Exmouth 10k fundraising for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The Educated Recruitment Team ran the Bradley’s Exmouth 10k on Sunday (30 September) to raise money for Ronald McDonald’s House Charities.
