Exeter-Yaroslavl Twinning Association's Annual Russian Christmas Fayre in the Guildhall, High Street, Exeter on Saturday, 8th December from 10am to 1pm.

Russian goods, books, home produce, bric-a-brac, jewellery, tombola, guess the weight of the cake, guess the name of the bear and café.

Find a last minute Christmas gift and enjoy a cup of coffee in the café for only £1, with a free refill! If you'd like to know more about the Twinning Association, there will be an information stand. All are most welcome!

Influential film critic Mark Kermode appointed Honorary Professor

Influential film critic Mark Kermode has been appointed as an Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter.

Dr Kermode will join the University’s film studies department – ranked as among the best in the world, to collaborate with academics on teaching programmes and research.

A local shop in Topsham, near Exeter, which has prevented the use of over 11,000 single use plastics by providing an opportunity for customers to shop packaging free since it opened in March, is on the shortlist of retailers in the running to be named Britain’s Best Small Shop of 2018.

Celebrations as new stand is unveiled at Exeter City Football Club

There were celebrations at Exeter City Football Club today when it officially unveiled its new £3.4 million stadium redevelopment.
