Exeter’s four-woman ‘Row For The Ocean’ team, who set off yesterday (Wednesday, December 12th) in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, is delighted to announce a new sponsor whose tagline is ‘Let’s discover the world’. Online travel agent Travel Up has become the team’s Platinum Partner for the race, pledging £10,000 in funding.

Sole traders, micro businesses, and small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) in Devon, Somerset, Plymouth and Torbay are being reminded that they can still apply for 12 hours of fully-funded business support.

The Heart of the South West Growth Support Programme, overseen by Devon County Council, provides access to one-to-one business support and advice in an array of areas, including digital marketing. Three separate grants have been made recently by the Freemasons of Devonshire totalling over £4000 to Pete’s Dragons a charity dedicated to supporting those who have been bereaved by suicide across Devon.
