The county’s finest food and drink producers, hospitality and catering businesses and speciality retailers celebrated in style at the esteemed Awards’ ceremony, held at the magnificent 19th century Victorian hotel, The Imperial in Torquay. A cancer nurse at the RD&E has received one of the country’s top nursing awards for her contributions in improving patient care.

Tina Grose, Lead Cancer Nurse at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, has received a prestigious Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Silver Award by Ruth May, CNO for NHS England and NHS Improvement, during a visit to the Trust last week.

Leading charities the Trussell Trust and FareShare are appealing to people in Exeter to volunteer to help in the UK’s biggest food collection for people in need.

One of Devon's leading law firms has received top ranking in the latest edition of an independent guide to the legal profession.

Exeter-based Stephens Scown LLP is ranked in seventeen sections of Chambers & Partners' UK 2020 guide, with four teams receiving band 1 recognition. Eight of the firm's lawyers received band 1 ranking, and in total 25 lawyers are ranked.
