Part of a collection of vintage glasses sold at a recent Chilcotts sale shows that the fascinating political situation faced today is nothing new.
The collection came via two independent collectors from East Devon; one put together during 1950s and the other through the ‘60s – with both kept intact for well over 50 years.
Amongst the wide range of glasses were two politically charged examples. One, a Georgian Liberty & Wilkes glass was engraved with a bird flying out of a cage. The story that goes with it bears more than a passing resemblance to current affairs. In 1757...
Nobody can escape death (not yet, anyway), and it’s only a matter of time until we have to deal with death in our life. A funeral service, including the use of a casket, is one of the long-time traditions related to death.
Many choose to show their love and appreciation for the deceased by customizing the casket in a way that he/she would have liked it. Selecting the casket is instead a personal decision since the casket plays a vital role throughout the funeral service. The casket serves as the vessel for the deceased, and it can be an image reflecting the deceased's personality...

The PPA, arranged by Squeaky Clean Energy in partnership with The Energy Consortium (TEC), means that Statkraft (Europe’s largest producer...

Not only do they enable your company to process transactions, but these systems also track sales numbers, manage your inventory, and can even be used to track customer data so that you can improve marketing campaigns.
But simply having one of these systems won’t provide the results you expect. Most businesses fail to maximize the use of their ePOS system, which keeps them from getting their full return on investment. Some businesses purchase...
