Exeter Neighbours Start Weekend with Lottery Win

Three people in Exeter are celebrating this weekend after scooping a £1,000 cash prize each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Whipton Barton Road neighbours netted the windfall when EX1 3PN was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Friday 13th December 2019.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her congratulations to the winners. She said: “I couldn’t be more pleased for our winners in Exeter, hopefully they’ll all be out celebrating tonight!”

TPS Genuine Causes fund helps Exeter district nurse get back on the road

An Exeter district nurse is back on the road and completing her essential work in the community thanks to a new fund set up to help those motorists most in need.

Trish Perry is back doing her rounds in her VW Polo after receiving help with her repair bill from the TPS ‘Genuine Parts For Genuine Causes’ fund’.

The new scheme offers individuals, community projects and charitable organisations the opportunity to apply to local independent garages, which have a TPS account, for help with repairs needed to keep their vehicles on the road.
