Award winning, chart topping podcast and online TV channel History Hit has announced a new 11 date live tour for Autumn 2021.

The tour will see one of the world’s most celebrated history broadcasters Dan Snow taking his accessible interview style to the stage in 10 cities across England, Scotland and Wales. He will talk to some of our best historians about the biggest stories from the past as well as hear the history of the towns and cities that he visits.

Budding astronomers will be given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a truly special celestial event in the run-in to Christmas.

This month, the gas giants Saturn and Jupiter - the two largest planets in our Solar System - will be so close in the sky that they’ll both be visible through a telescope eyepiece at the same time.

Devon digital advertising agency, Launch Online, has raised £1000 for the FORCE Cancer Charity Autumn Bike Ride initiative after the team cycled over 245 miles from underneath their desks during November.

With the help of a fleet of mini pedal exercisers, which fit underneath the desk, the team generated over 389,466 revolutions on their desk bikes over the four weeks of lockdown while they worked.

Residents have the chance to shape the county’s roadmap to net-zero by taking part in the Interim Devon Carbon Plan Consultation.

The consultation, which opens on Monday December 7 and runs for 10 weeks, gives the public an opportunity to influence Devon’s collective response to the global climate emergency and create a healthier, fairer and stronger Devon.
