Exeter firm Paradigm Norton wins prestigious King’s Enterprise Award for Sustainability
Exeter based financial planning firm Paradigm Norton has been honoured with the UK’s most coveted business award. Paradigm Norton is one of only 185 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in 2026, with just 36 receiving an award for sustainable development.
Announced today (Wednesday 6 May), the Award recognises businesses which have excelled in international trade, innovation, sustainable development, or promoting opportunity, and is the highest award for British businesses.
Paradigm Norton has been recognised for its outstanding achievement in sustainability, recognising the successful way in which the firm has built sustainability into its vision and strategy, while delivering positive impact for clients, communities, and the environment.
Paradigm Norton Financial Planning Limited was founded in 2001 and today its 90 strong team supports more than 1,300 families, with £1.5 billion of assets under management. The firm is committed to sustainable investing that aims to support clients’ long-term objectives while contributing to a better future.
An employee-owned firm, which also has offices in Bristol and London, Paradigm Norton places clients at the heart of every decision. As a Certified B Corporation, it is committed to balancing profit with purpose and seeking to create positive outcomes for clients, communities and the planet.
The King’s Award for Sustainable Development highlights how that commitment is reflected across Paradigm Norton’s governance, operations, client advice, and investment proposition.
Philippa Hann, CEO of Paradigm Norton said:“Receiving a King’s Award for Enterprise is a hugely proud moment for everyone at Paradigm Norton. To be recognised nationally for our commitment to sustainability is a powerful endorsement of the values that shape our business and the work our people deliver every day.
“This award reflects the progress we have made in embedding sustainability across every part of the firm – from how we operate as a business to the advice and investment solutions we provide to clients. It is recognition that long-term commercial success and positive impact can go hand in hand.”
“Most importantly, it is a tribute to our people and our clients, who have supported this journey. The King’s Award gives us even greater momentum as we continue to raise standards in financial planning and help create a better future for the communities we serve. We believe strongly that this matters particularly in today’s world.”
The King’s Awards for Enterprise—previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise—were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty The King’s commitment to continuing the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II in celebrating exceptional UK businesses.
Now in its 60th year, the King’s Awards for Enterprise remain the UK’s most prestigious business accolades. Successful organisations may use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years, signalling excellence to customers, partners, and global markets.
