As part of John Lewis’ Community Matters charity campaign, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) was delighted to receive a cheque from the Exeter store for £1251.

CHSW was one of three charities chosen to be supported by a three month campaign within the store, which encouraged shoppers to select a charity to support via tokens given at the checkouts.

The charity supports life-limited children and their families across Devon, and Naomi Dymond, corporate fundraiser at CHSW’s Little Bridge House hospice in North Devon said: ‘We were thrilled to be one of the selected charities to benefit from this campaign.

"It costs £3.4million each year to provide help and support for local families.

"Donations, such as this, are vital to ensure that we can continue our much needed medical and respite care and we’d like to thank the shoppers of Exeter for choosing to support us."

Naomi was presented with a cheque for the donation by Aimée Luxton, Community Liaison Coordinator at John Lewis Exeter.
