Princesshay store Insideout donates to local charity project

Independent gift and lifestyle store Insideout, Princesshay, has donated £250 to St Loye’s Foundation’s Positive Opportunities Service which provides people with Austitic Spectrum Conditions in Devon free access to training, volunteering or employment options.

The money raised was generated through a silent auction at the Insideout Chameleon Dress exclusive launch party with prizes donated by local businesses Cakeadoodledo, SAKS salon, The Cove and Kathea Boutique and RTJ photography.

The Chameleon dress is an innovative wrap dress which can be worn in more than 12 different ways and is the perfect companion for those wanting to ‘travel light.’ It was created by New Zealand fashion designer, Anna Stretton, and is being sold exclusively in the UK at Insideout and online at: www.gottohaveit.co.uk.

Claire Prendergast, Positive Opportunities Co-ordinator said:We would like to say a very big thank you to the staff and customers at Insideout for this generous donation! The money will go towards the course fees for one of the individuals we support to study an Access to HE Diploma in Exeter College starting next September.”

Amanda Leach Manager at Insideout said: “We thank everyone who took part in the Chameleon dress event & helped raise funds for such a great local charity.  As an independent business we are always keen to support local community projects such as the St Loye’s positive opportunities project. It’s great news to hear our donation will help fund education courses for individuals in Exeter with Autistic spectrum conditions.”
