LUNA – A FEATURE FILM WITH A LOCAL FLAVOUR “LUNA” is the award winning new film produced by Honiton based entrepreneur and ‘Angel’ investor Clive Banks . The winner of Best British Feature at the prestigious Raindance Festival, the independent British Film Festival held in London this month, “LUNA” stars Dervla Kirwan, Ben Daniels, Michael Maloney and Stephanie Leonidas. The film tells the story of two couples and takes place over a long weekend, when old loves, losses and resentments are revisited and the life of a dead child is lived out in a series of strange, hallucinatory dreams. LUNA is directed by Dave McKean, a world renowned, multi-award winning filmmaker (MirrorMask), author, comic book artist, illustrator and photographer whose work ranges from ‘Harry Potter’ and Rolling Stones album covers to The Fat Duck Cookbook. Beautifully shot, the film features amazing scenery, most particularly local landmark Lee Bay. The film opened in cinemas in the UK on 3rd October and is currently on a special tour in cinemas around the UK with Dave McKean participating in a series of Q&A’s.
