Funfair raises £200 for St Loye's
Funfair and amusements business Anderton & Rowlands has made a generous donation of £200 to support St Loye’s Foundation.
The donation will be used to buy a communications toolkit to enable young adults, who are not able to express themselves, to do so with more confidence.
The gift was presented by cheque by Rowland Devey of Anderton and Rowlands to St Loye’s Foundation at the recent Anderton & Rowlands European Theme Park, held at Exwick Playing Fields, Exeter.
Karen Clarke, Head of Learning & Skills, said: “We are very grateful to Anderton & Rowlands for this generous donation to support our work. It is a lovely gift and one which will have a real impact.”
A number of clients currently being supported by St Loye’s Foundation also visited the fair for the evening and enjoyed the rides. With the City Council’s consent, it is hoped the theme park will become an annual event.
St Loye’s Foundation supports individuals with social, disability and health issues to help them to be more independent. For more information, see the charity’s website: http://www.stloyesfoundation.org.uk/
