Air quality specialist extends SLR’s Exeter office offering
Environmental firm, SLR Consulting, has welcomed air quality specialist, Morgan Fitzpatrick to its Exeter base in Polsloe Road.
Morgan, who was previously based in the firm’s Bradford on Avon office, is an Associate with 12 years’ experience of undertaking air quality and odour assessments. The move helps to extend SLR’s capabilities to clients across the South West, especially for air quality issues related to proposed housing schemes, an area that is seeing significant increase as a result of an upturn in new build across the South West.
In addition, Morgan will be able to provide support to food and drink manufacturing businesses as they prepare for forthcoming changes to the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR), which mean that many producers will have to apply for permits from the Environment Agency for the first time.
Exeter office manager Geoff Keenan said: “We are very pleased that Morgan is relocating to join our Exeter team and I am sure his expertise will be of great value to new and existing clients.”
SLR’s Exeter multi-disciplinary team also encompasses ecologists, noise consultants, hydrologists/hydrogeologists and land quality specialists. Recent key projects include Environmental permitting support for Wolf Mineral’s Hemerdon Tungsten Mine near Plymouth.
