Christmas Craft Fair on campus

The students and staff of Exeter University will be putting on their annual Christmas craft fair tomorrow (Friday 6th December) in the Forum building, from 12-4pm.

Come along and support your friends, colleagues, staff and the university in their largest event so far. Music and food and a Farmer's Market will be on-site too!

Exhibitors include:

- Mehndi~B - a freelance henna artist who specialises in the application of beautiful, traditional designs as well as the supply of henna starter kits.


- Stunning individual paintings and images produced by Jo Thomas.

- Greeting Cards - Fiona French's home made greeting cards based on her photography

- Button Earrings - Handmade button earrings available in a variety of colours. The earrings are presented on a card, making them an ideal gift.

- Handmade Jewellery - Handmade jewellery including button earrings, polymer clay jewellery (handmade beads), broaches, felt owls, vintage pendants and rings by Holly Wheaton.

- Poetry CD - Jack Sheeran's poetry CD, entitled 'I Cannot Bite the Day to the Core', of the WWI poet Edward Thomas, who was killed in action during the war.  Includes the following poems (among many others): March, The Glory & Aspens.  http://bitetheday.weebly.com/

- Cards and cakes - High-quality hand-made Christmas cards in a variety of styles and sizes, including modern, stylistic cut-out designs and hand-drawn illustrations. Delicious cakes and other Christmassy baked goods in a variety of traditional and unique designs and flavours by Emma Pidsley and Sophie Davies. We will be giving a portion of our profits to the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK.


- Textiles - Knitted and sewn items of clothing and soft furnishing such as cushions and paper weights by Nada Khreisheh


- Cards - Hand-made Christmas and greetings cards, in aid of the charity Lucy's Days Out (www.lucysdaysout.org) by Lucy Corley.

- Macaw designs - Macaw Designs make laptop, tablet, smartphone and glasses cases. You can either buy one of the collections we've designed, or we'll give you the tools and you can create your own. http://www.macawdesigns.com

- Student Traders - Site dedicated to advertising Students who have extra curricular skills and trades and who want to sell these talens to the local community.
