Pawesome day out with pen farthing

Looking for the perfect way to round off the summer holidays? Head to Pawesome Day Out, a lively, family-friendly charity event on Sunday 31st August from 12pm at St Martin’s Football Club, Exminster—where fun, food, and four-legged friends take centre stage!

Organised by Claudia Pinn of Claudia’s Canines and the UK–Sri Lanka-based charity Lucas Helps Dogs, this event aims to raise vital funds for street animals in Sri Lanka. Proceeds will directly support spay/neuter clinics, emergency treatments, and life-saving vaccinations for dogs and cats in desperate need.

Claudia shares:
“After visiting Sri Lanka, I was absolutely horrified. Seeing the suffering of the dogs and cats broke me, and I knew immediately that I needed to do something to help.”

And there’s a very special guest!
The highlight of the day is the dog show, judged by none other than Pen Farthing, founder of the globally renowned Nowzad charity. Known for rescuing animals from war zones, Pen will be meeting attendees—and maybe even awarding your pup a prize.
