The proud Cornishman joined Chiefs in 2009 as skills coach after retiring from his playing career during which he played scrum-half for Cornish Pirates and Worcester Warriors.

Pellow said: “I’ve had 16 amazing years here at the club, so it’s an emotional decision to leave but it is one that enables me and my family to experience a new adventure.

Thanks to customer donations from a company-wide breakfast morning, an auction for Exeter Chiefs match tickets and two members of staff completing a charity sky dive the company has raised a fantastic £1,923.73.

The money will help the Exeter Chiefs Foundation continue to support a wide range of charities in the area. Since it was set up in 2011, it has raised over £1m and supported over 75 different...

The 2018-19 season ended disappointingly with just two wins in Exeter’s final seven leagues game. That record to end the season meant that the club missed out on a playoff place by one point, but there is no doubting that Matt Taylor has stamped his philosophy over his side and the 2019-20 season could be a fruitful campaign.

The manager has enjoyed a fine record since taking over at Exeter having only lost 18 of his 58 games in charge. If this record can be improved over the next nine months, then there is no reason why they can’t maintain their place in the mix for automatic...

Exeter City ready for the next step

The Grecians have made a brilliant start to the new season. Matt Taylor’s men look like serious promotion contenders after picking up 17 points from their opening 7 games. What’s more, Exeter are one of two unbeaten teams in League Two alongside Newport County. If they can maintain this form for the rest of the season, they’ll fancy themselves as title challengers.

The most exciting part is that this team can grind out results against top-class opposition. Exeter has already picked up maximum points against Carlisle, Stevenage, Morecambe, Cheltenham, and Mansfield this season. To...

Exeter City 1 Mansfield Town 0

Ryan Bowman’s early goal earned Exeter City a 1-0 win at St James Park over Mansfield Town in the Sky Bet League Two.

Manager Matt Taylor made just the one change to his starting XI from Morecambe with now-joint top goalscorer, Nicky Law, temporarily sidelined with injury, allowing Matt Jay to come into the lineup in his place.

The game, as expected, was end-to-end for the entirety of the first-half with both sides having a plethora of chances.

It was the Grecians who took the lead inside five minutes, after a quick throw-in from Dean Moxey and an...

Manager Matt Taylor made just two changes to the starting XI following the 0-0 draw with Oldham as captain Taylor made a return from injury, as did Randell Williams, with the Grecians looking to build on their positive start to the season....
