Lavelle said: “He’s still learning and he only ever really does as much as he needs to, which is great as he’ll keep improving. We’re very pleased with how he’s handled the ground today, which means he’ll go on...

Rob Baxter is set to replace one international name with another ahead of the 2020/21 season.

With Nic White’s departure back to Australia already confirmed, the Exeter Chiefs Director of Rugby has wasted little time in filling the void left by the gifted scrum-half.

Heading to Sandy Park will be Scottish international Sam Hidalgo-Clyne, who will join the Gallagher Premiership club on a two-year deal from French Top14 side, Lyon.

The 26-year-old half-back is Baxter’s second new signing, alongside that of fellow Scottish star Jonny Gray, and will help further bolster...

The home side started brightly, with Lewis Ward required on two...

The game started slowly, until a ferocious effort from distance by Tom Hamer on 11 minutes had Lewis Ward scrambling to his left to dive, though the defender’s shot was narrowly off-target and the City goalkeeper...

Between April 2018 and March 2019, the total gross yield of the Great British gambling industry totalled £14.4 billion. Throughout the years, there have been calls for the United Kingdom to change sports betting regulations with the market growing to reach new, unprecedented heights. Grecians boss Taylor warns the future of City’s academy is at risk

Exeter City boss Matt Taylor believes seismic alterations to the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) are required in order to help lower league clubs to avoid losing valuable income for developing young talent - talent that is arguably the lifeblood of teams outside the riches of the Premier League and the Championship.

The overall goal of EPPP is to improve the number and calibre of homegrown players in senior squads up and down the country. However, Taylor argues that there is no evidence of this happening, with promising youngsters being snapped up by elite clubs before they...
