Young Welsh prop joins Exeter Chiefs Women

Exeter Chiefs Women have signed exciting young prop Maisie Davies from Bristol Bears.

The loosehead had moved to Bristol for the 2025/26 PWR season after an outstanding campaign for Gwalia Lightning in 2024/25 and being named MVP for Wales U20s’ Women’s Summer Series in 2024.

At just 20 years old, Davies has already racked up 17 caps for Wales and played in the Rugby World Cup last year.

First Flybe U9 Schools Football Cup takes off

The inaugural Flybe Under 9 Schools Futsal Cup tournament has taken place, with the three regional winners being Stoke Hill in the Exeter section, Drakes from East Budleigh in East Devon and Ilfracombe in North Devon.

Exeter Chiefs hooker Simon Alcott has today spoken of his disappointment after it was confirmed he will have to retire from the game with immediate effect due to a neck injury. Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter believes his 2013/14 squad will be given the perfect build-up to next season's Aviva Premiership after today confirming the Devon club's pre-season friendlies. Exeter City drop out of play-off places after defeat

Exeter City slipped to a fourth successive defeat at the hands of promotion rivals Rotherham United, as the Millers prospered 4-1 at the New York Stadium.

The loss means the Grecians are now eigth in the table after Bradford beat Bristol Rovers by the same scoreline.

Lewis Jones has announced his resignation from the Exeter City FC Trust Board, due to continuing health difficulties and increased demands on his time.

An Exeter-based youth football team has received a wonderful boost thanks to the generosity of a local charity established to mark the life and achievements of one of Exeter City's best-loved players.

The players and supporters of Central FC are celebrating at the news that they have received a £495 grant made by the Adam Stansfield Foundation. Following Exeter’s home defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge, manager Paul Tisdale lamented what has been a frustrating week for the Grecians.

A third consecutive defeat has left City trying to secure a play-off place in the final four fixtures.
