Chiefs Women bid farewell to outgoing players

Exeter Chiefs Women will bid farewell to seven players at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Among those confirmed so far will be Canadian hooker and crowd favourite Emily Tuttosi who is heading back to Canada to take on a coaching role. The 30-year-old joined Chiefs in their inaugural season. She has played 88 games for the club and scored 31 tries.

Tuttosi will be joined on the leavers’ list by former Ireland captain Edel ‘Tricky’ McMahon, who has been with the club since 2022. Operations to both knees have meant the flanker has not been able take part in the 2025/26...

Exeter City make it 4 in a row!

Match Report: Dagenham 1 Exeter City 2

For the fourth time on the bounce, Exeter City secured a 2-1 victory – and this time it was Dagenham & Redbridge that were the vanquished side.

City were trailing to a goal by former Grecian Jamie Cureton at the break following a disappointing first half.

But Exeter, galvanised and dominant in the second period, fought back well and got on terms when Alex Nicholls was felled in the area and Jimmy Keohane netted from the penalty spot.

The turnaround was complete deep into stoppage time when Arron Davies rose highest...

Chiefs stumble away from home

Just when it looked the Exeter Chiefs had taken two significant steps forward in this season’s Aviva Premiership, they sadly allowed one back as Newcastle Falcons claimed a priceless victory at Kingston Park.

Not since October 27 last year when London Irish were turned over 20-13 had Dean Richards’ side experienced the sweet taste of victory.

They were, however, the ‘Toast of the Toon’ come the final whistle on this occasion as tries from Sinoti Sinoti, Tom Catterick and Noah Cato, plus 14 points from the boot of playmaker Juan-Pablo Socino, helped them to end a 20-game...

Young Grecians get second England call-up

Young duo get international summons again

Exeter City are delighted to announce that teenage pair Matt Grimes and Christy Pym have once again been selected to represent England at Under-20 level.

The youngsters will link up with the international set-up this coming Sunday following our Friday-night game at Dagenham & Redbridge. They will fly out to the Netherlands with their England teammates, where the Young Lions will compete in a round-robin with Germany, Netherlands and Turkey.

Matt and Christy will be available to face their counterparts from Germany on...

Exeter Chiefs side to face Falcons

Exeter Chiefs may be odds-on with the bookmakers to clock up their fourth Aviva Premiership victory of the season at Newcastle Falcons this Sunday, but head coach Rob Baxter doesn’t quite see as simple as that.

Winless in their last 20 top flight games, the Chiefs head honcho insists the Falcons have little to lose and everything to gain ahead of his side’s latest trip to Kingston Park (3pm).

Such a pre-match warning is certainly creditable from Baxter, who will figure in his 500th league game as either an Exeter player or coach this weekend. However, at the same time his...

Slade looking to kick on

Henry Slade insists he and his Exeter Chiefs are prepared to go to "dark places" in a bid to see off their Aviva Premiership rivals.

With three victories from four starts already this season, Slade was again at the heart of Exeter's latest success story as he helped himself to a maiden Premiership try and two penalties in the Devon club's 36-13 win over Harlequins at Sandy Park.

Alongside fellow young gun Sam Hill in the Exeter midfield, the 21-year-old back has enjoyed a stellar start to the 2014/15 campaign, producing a string of impressive on-field displays that have had...

Waldrom wants to build on wins

Thomas Waldrom says it's vital the Exeter Chiefs continue to keep moving forward after an encouraging start to the 2014/15 Aviva Premiership season.

The Chiefs notched up their third win in four starts on Sunday when they overcame Harlequins 36-13 at Sandy Park.

Summer signing Waldrom claimed Exeter's opening try at the weekend - and took his own season tally to three as he touched down alongside skipper Jack Yeandle and centre Henry Slade.

Fly-half Gareth Steenson added a further 15 points, whilst two more monster penalties from Slade helped to complete the job on...

Chiefs crush Quins

Rob Baxter’s calls for Exeter Chiefs to re-establish their Sandy Park fortress were well and truly answered as his side swot aside the attentions of visiting Harlequins.

Having only won two of their last nine league games on their own turf and just seven out of 17 matches in all competitions in the last 12 months, the Chiefs could not have picked a better time to rediscover the winning formula.

From start to finish, Baxter’s braves had too much for their rivals.

Thomas Waldrom, Jack Yeandle and Henry Slade all crossed for tries, whilst the boots of Slade and Gareth...

City make it three in a row

Match report: Exeter City 2 Bury 1

Exeter City overturned league leaders Bury at St James Park, recording a 2-1 win to make it three wins on the bounce.

An early Matt Grimes free-kick had Exeter off to a flyer, but Tom Soares’ rocket after an hour had the teams all square.

But a close-range effort from substitute Jimmy Keohane with less than ten minutes remaining was the difference at the end, giving Exeter City’s hard-working side a well-earned three points at the Park.

Craig Woodman’s injury kept him out of the matchday squad for the meeting with Bury,...

Chiefs team to face Harlequins

Exeter Chiefs welcome back Jack Nowell and Phil Dollman into their starting line-up for Sunday’s Aviva Premiership clash with Harlequins at Sandy Park (2pm).

Both Nowell and Dollman appeared off the bench in last week’s 25-22 win at Gloucester, but head coach Rob Baxter is keen to see the duo in action from the outset as the Chiefs look to record a third win in four starts this season.

England international Nowell has not started a league game since he injured a shoulder during Exeter’s defeat at Leicester Tigers last March, while Dollman has also had to sit on the...

Chudley enjoying flying start

Will Chudley says it’s vital Exeter Chiefs look to make the most of their encouraging start to the new Aviva Premiership season when they play host to Harlequins on Sunday (2pm).

The Chiefs have already secured away wins at London Welsh and Gloucester, whilst a star-studded Leicester Tigers were pushed all the way in their opening home game of the season before the Midlanders nabbed a narrow 25-22 victory.

Chudley knows all too well the Chiefs will need to be at their best if they are to maintain their position amongst the division’s frontrunners, but he says confidence is...
