Exeter’s 33-17 victory will live long in the minds of those who packed into Sandy Park, whilst for those watching on TV at home, the viewing was equally compelling as they advanced to...

Chiefs side to face Ospreys

Advancing into the last eight of Europe may seem a tall order for the Exeter Chiefs, but head coach Rob Baxter is refusing to give up hope and wants his side to finish their Pool Two programme on a high against the Ospreys today (Sunday) at Sandy Park (3:15pm).

Last Saturday’s 34-27 reverse away to Bordeaux-Begles means the Chiefs need to accrue maximum reward against the Welsh region this weekend, whilst hope results elsewhere in France between Clermont-Auvergne and Bordeaux-Begles fall in the right direction for them.

Whatever the outcome, Baxter’s side will once again...

Exeter City win again!

In a frantic start to the game City had fallen behind after Shay McCartan’s third goal in a week. But the Grecians responded magnificently, equalising two minutes later through Tom Nichols’ twelfth goal of the season, before Ribeiro sealed the points, bundling home in the seventy-ninth minute.

City boss Paul Tisdale made six changes to the side that exited the Emirates FA Cup at Anfield last Wednesday, including a start for in-form striker Jayden Stockley who was making his first appearance for City at St James Park. Notable team news for the visitors was that eleven-goal top-...

Baxter has said the situation is far from ideal and it appears he’s now set to act, confirming in this week’s media briefing that he is...
