City produced a very good performance to dominate this game for the majority of the match.  Despite playing against an U13 goalkeeper Exeter managed to find the net three times through Finley Rooke, Alex Moyse and Alfie Pond.  The lads also hit the woodwork 3 times and were unfortunate to concede 3 goals in the final period in an otherwise impressive display.

Under 12’s  Exeter City v  Cheltenham        Won 3 - 2            Home

Exeter were always in control of this game but could not turn their superior ball retention into goals, in spite of creating numerous chances.  For the first 8 min Cheltenham did not enter the city half, at which point Jack Magarotto scored low into the corner from 18 yards and Cole Harford added a second when he tucked in a cross at the near post.  A defensive error and a speculative shot from 40 yards gave the visitors hope but Kieran Burpitt’s smart finish after some excellent combination play in the final third sealed it for the Grecians.

Man of the Match – Louis Morison
