Bristol Rovers v Exeter City match postponed

After receiving advice from the Stadium Advisory Group, the decision has been taken to postpone Saturday’s match against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.

Heavy snow has been falling in Bristol, and after taking into account the weather forecast for the next 24 hours (including sub-zero temperatures during the night and more snow), the decision has been taken early to avoid any uncertainty.  The stadium and surrounding area are covered in a blanket of snow at present, which is not forecast to clear anytime soon.

The local police in Bristol have fully supported the decision.

The date for the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course, once it has been agreed by both clubs and the Football League. Details on ticket rearrangements will also follow in due course.
