Double Trouble in Chelsea - family friendly

There's a version of this industry that nobody talks about honestly. Not the tabloid version, not the cautionary tale. The reality is quieter, more considered, and - when it's done properly - very elegant.

Chelsea knows this. It has always known it.

The Room Reads You Before You Sit Down

Walk into the Ivy Chelsea Garden on a Friday evening, and you'll notice right away that the room is performing. Everyone in it has decided how they want to be perceived. The lighting is low enough to flatter, and the booths are wide enough for four people. The clientele has collectively...

We are a friendly, social group who raise money to support the Hospice services that are provided in Crediton and the surrounding communities.

We enjoy organising fun, local events in the town and are proud to say we raise thousands of pounds each year to help support the local nurses who care for people in our community in their homes when they have been given a terminal diagnosis and need expert end of life care.

We hold regular coffee mornings, a Ladies Pamper Evening and support those who open their gardens for us in the summer. Our next big event is on Friday 28th June...

In 2016, Di & Sammi Rosser took part in the Twilight Walk simply because it sounded like a fun event and they felt that Hospiscare was a charity worth supporting. They could never have imagined two years later they would be walking in memory, having placed a photo of their much loved husband and dad Jeff on their memory star and displaying it, with so many others, within the special memory tent at The Maer, Exmouth.

“Behind our smiles and excitement about taking part in last year’s Twilight Walk is a terrible sadness and grief at the loss of a loving husband and dad to cancer...

Authored by Hospiscare

Hospiscare is asking ‘going green’ at the upcoming Twilight Walk in Exmouth, which takes place on Saturday, 7 July. The charity is also taking measures to keep environmental impact at the event as low as possible – for example, no ready-filled water bottles will be available.

Along with the Twilight Walk’s usual 5-mile and 10-mile routes there will be a 5k fun run – and all walkers and runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to cut down on single-use plastic bottles. Alternatively, Hospiscare’s new 750 ml BPA-free reusable water bottle will be available to...
