We are a friendly, social group who raise money to support the Hospice services that are provided in Crediton and the surrounding communities.

We enjoy organising fun, local events in the town and are proud to say we raise thousands of pounds each year to help support the local nurses who care for people in our community in their homes when they have been given a terminal diagnosis and need expert end of life care.

We hold regular coffee mornings, a Ladies Pamper Evening and support those who open their gardens for us in the summer. Our next big event is on Friday 28th June where we will be delivering afternoon tea to local businesses, which is always very popular.

Marion Clements, Chair of the Crediton Friends of Hospiscare group, said “If you can spare a couple of hours and would like to help us keep these local events going then please come join us, it’s always good fun and we have a lot of laughs while we do it! We are not asking for regular commitment and to join the committee but just to be on our register of helpers. The old saying ‘Many hands make light work’ is very true! So if you can help bake, serve teas, set up tables or put out collecting tins then we would love to hear from you.”
