Special arrangements are in place to make sure people in Devon can access GP and pharmacy services over the Easter weekend.

To respond to the current high demand from patients, GP practices across Devon, Torbay and Plymouth will be opening on Good Friday and Easter Monday as if they were normal working weekdays – from 8am to 6pm. County Council donates £100k to Devon Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund

Devon County Council has contributed £100,000 to the Devon Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund after an emergency appeal was launched by the Devon Community Foundation.

The Devon Community Foundation is an organisation that helps distribute funds to charitable and voluntary groups in the county to provide them with sustainable support and enables them to create change in their communities.

Hundreds of people from across Devon have answered the call to help care for the county’s most vulnerable residents.

Devon, Somerset and Torbay Trading Standards is reminding owners of guest houses, campsites and restaurants to remain closed this Easter to help combat coronavirus.

On March 23 the Government ordered hospitality businesses to close and said that people should stay at home and only essential travel is permitted.
