Team FORCE smash it at the 2026 Great West Run

Team FORCE has again pulled out all the stops at this year’s Great West Run.

Nearly 450 people ran either the half marathon or 10K around the streets of Exeter and beyond in Sunday’s sweltering heat to support FORCE Cancer Charity.

Between them they have raised more than £135,000 so far, which will support local people dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Young people across Devon are gaining vital skills, confidence and real-world experience thanks to the Chiefs Engage 16+ Programme. Topsham’s history takes centre stage with the unveiling of new heritage boards and a Maritime Trail—an exciting project that’s earned the support of the Earl of Devon.

More than 4,000 people fed at Christmas by the Exeter Chiefs Foundation

The Exeter Chiefs Foundation has funded its largest ever Feeding the Community at Christmas campaign, ensuring that 1,100 people received a proper festive feast.

Storm Goretti is forecast to hit Devon later today (Thursday 8 January), bringing with it a mixture of disruptive weather conditions which could impact parts of the county.

The award-winning York-based architects brown + company have won approval for a major housing project in Exeter.
