White Company opens on Exeter High Street

Wednesday saw the opening of an exciting new store on Exeter High Street, ‘The White Company’. Laden with mince pies, chocolates and even champagne to give away, shop assistants welcomed wave after wave of customers throughout the day.

The store offers a wide range of products from fragrances to baby clothes to bed linen, and is “beautifully laid-out”, as one customer said.

The lovely atmosphere and charm of the place is, according to one shop assistant, the unique selling point of ‘The White Company’, and she added that “Exeter is going up in the world, and we are adding to this with our fresh, classy style and elegant products”.

She also said that everything had gone very smoothly in the store today, but this was “especially thanks to the patient customers who were willing to wait in queues” and to expect some delay.

She said she was grateful for the online discount code for the White Company running in parallel to the opening, as it likely meant the queues didn’t get as long as they could've be.

‘The White Company’ originally started off as a bed linen mail order service, but has gradually expanded over the years, with roughly 43 stores in total in the UK today, and more expected to open soon.
