Bridging the Gap, TEDx Youth @ Gandy Street

Speaker applications open for TEDx Youth Gandy Street

Committed to showcasing ideas worth spreading within Exeter's student community, we are hosting Exeter's first ever TEDx Youth event this November. TEDx Youth Gandy Street is an independently organised youth conference arriving virtually in Exeter on November 21st, 2020. We are an event focused on spreading the innovative and pioneering ideas of young people throughout Exeter. Our goal is to ‘bridge the gap’ by creating a sustainable and collaborative future for generations to come.

We are looking for pioneering, insightful and thought-provoking speakers to share their ideas with the world through our platform. Speaker applications are now open, if you feel that you have ideas worth spreading and want to play a part in bridging the gap, apply to speak today! Applications are open until the 14th September.

This is an amazing opportunity to make an impact upon your community. Topics can include (but definitely aren't limited to):

Law, human rights, government & social policies,

Environment, sustainability, food & well-being,

Education, science, art & sports.

YOU CAN APPLY TO SPEAK HERE

Our event is an independently organised conference held on licence by TED, organised and presented by the Exeter student community; the conference will involve young local speakers presenting inspiring and thought-provoking talks on wide ranging topics all following the overarching theme of “bridging the gap”. With a dedicated team working to source interesting speakers and a lively audience, we look forward to hosting an event that enables students to engage with new and exciting ideas beyond traditional academic settings.

We look forward to hearing about what issues matter to you!
