An Exeter business celebrated its third anniversary by combining beauty and brawn.
Purity Day Spa on Cathedral Green threw a VIP birthday bash with a little help from three rugby stars.
VIP guests enjoyed complementary make overs while Exeter Chiefs first team players Carl Rimmer, Chris Whitehead and Phil Dollman served them with champagne.
They were joined by staff from nearby Saks hair salon who also offered free treatments.
Purity owner Mariam Bavadi said: "We launched in tough economic times and, as we all know, the situation hasn't improved during the three years we have been in business.
"However we have managed to not only survive but thrive thanks to the loyal support we have received from our wonderful clients. We organised today to say a big thank you to them."
With outstanding views overlooking Exeter Cathedral Green, Purity offers a range of treatments in a vintage-inspired building adorned with shabby chic furniture.
