Southwestern Car Dealers Dive into Doughnut Day with Revive! Exeter
Car dealers from across the Southwest were surprised with sweet sugary Doughnuts courtesy of local business owners Scott Jaques and Jon Kay along with their team as part of Revive! Exeter’s participation in National Doughnut Day.
Scott Jaques, co-owner of Revive! Exeter hand delivered more than 900 doughnuts to dealers throughout his territory. This was all in aid of promoting his specialist Smart Repair services to dealerships, helping dealers realise how Revive! can help sell more cars profitably.
The southwest has seen a lot of success in the automotive retail sector with multiple new dealerships opening in the area along with major expansions happening at the start of the year. Revive! Exeter has been operating in the territory since 2024, partnering with major dealerships throughout their Devonshire base.
Scott commented “The dealership base is showing significant growth in the southwest. with many new dealers opening throughout the area, there is growing competition for all sites, with each of them trying to find a way to differentiate themselves. This provides Revive! Exeter with an instant opening when engaging with new prospective dealers, allowing us to really target their problem areas and provide realistic solutions.”
Specialising in high quality mobile repairs for vehicle bodywork and alloy wheels, Revive! Exeter partners with car dealerships, insurance providers, fleet operators and retail customers repairing vehicle damage that includes small bumper scuffs, vandal scratches, small dents and stone chips.
“It’s fantastic to really get our boots on the ground and meet people face to face. The Doughnuts are really just an ice breaker, who can say no to fresh doughnuts? Then I can really get down and promote the business. This unique approach has paid dividends, and we’ve picked up significant opportunities through last year’s campaigns, I can’t wait to see the results for the 2026 event.”
Revive! followed up the initial 2025 campaign with a second prospecting event in December where they distributed over 10,000 cookies to more than 400 dealership sites. The success of both events has led to them becoming regular occasions for the Revive! Network.
