Owners of missing dog, Rosie the greyhound, have thanked TED readers and Twitter users for their help in the eleven-day dog hunt.

Hundreds tweeted and re-tweeted to make sure that people kept the eyes open for the missing pooch.

Rosie the greyhound was found on Monday, 4th November on Trendlebere Moor at a little before 9am.

Caroline Woffindale, Rosie's owner had searched non-stop for ten days when she had to return to work in Oxford on Sunday night.

The hunt saw Jenny Brown travel from Kent to help in the hunt using specially trained tracking dog Tiga to sniff out Rosie

This morning Caroline’s Mum and Jenny went back out to the Moor to start the eleventh day of searching, within minutes they spotted her and although initially timid, when Rosie recognised Caroline's Mum, she bounded over delighted to see her.

Although skinny after days and nights out in the elements, including through last weekend’s storms, Rosie is fine.

Nothing a warm fire, good food and cuddles won't solve. Caroline and her family would like to thank everyone who helped spread the word including locals, farmers and walkers on the moors
