Police appeal for information about robbery in Whipton

A 19-year-old man was knocked down and robbed in Whipton on Tuesday night.

The victim was held down by three offenders while they took money from his pockets.

The men ran off leaving the victim uninjured.

The offenders are described as white, male and all aged between 18 and 20. Two of the men were wearing dark clothing, a third man was wearing a blue and cream striped jumper and is described as being stocky with short blond hair with a Birmingham accent.

The robbery took place on Summerway in Whipton at around 8.30pm.

Police would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time or who can provide information to assist the investigation.
