Barchester’s Cumberland Grange care home, in Exeter, got in the Christmas spirit by holding their first ever pantomime at the home.

Jack and the Beanstalk was this year’s play of choice! Staff dressed up and got into character and resident Brian even played a part as the Giant. It was hilariously wonderful which had residents, their families and staff in stitches all the way throughout.

A truly fantastic way to end the week!

General Manager, Marc said: “Is it really Christmas without a pantomime? Being able to put on a light hearted, funny show for our residents and their loved ones was great. As part of our countdown to Christmas activity planner, the panto was a much anticipated event which was a real hit with everyone who watched and got involved.”

Dennis, resident at Cumberland Grange said: “It really was fantastic, wonderful.”

Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.

Cumberland Grange Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals. Cumberland Grange provides Residential Care, Dementia Care and Respite Care.
