Get active at Sport and Wellbeing Fun Day

This Sunday (13th July) will see Active Devon co-host a Sport and Well Being Fun Day at Exeter Quay & Piazza from 11am-4pm to encourage everyone to get active for life.

All ages and abilities are welcome to come and sample sports and healthy lifestyle activity.

The day will offer taster sports from a range of organisations including Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre, South West Athletics Academy, Exwick Tennis Club and Exeter Martial Arts club.

The event is being held in partnership with Exeter City Council and St Lukes Science and Sports College who will offer dance sessions from the ‘get set to make a change’ team.

Active life styles help us all stay healthy and motivated and on the day, if you can collect 4 stamps from any of the organisations present, there is a chance to collect a free goodie bag for the first 100 participants to help you get active and stay active for life. The Sport and Well Being Fun Day will be taking place alongside the Jazz on the Quay which is taking place from 12.30-3.30pm from 13th July to 31st August 2014. Presented by the Exeter Canal and Quay Trust, the music will be provided by a range of jazz bands with City Steam Jazz Band kicking things off this Sunday.
