Clear-sighted opticians earn prestigious prize

VISIONARY Exeter opticians are celebrating after receiving a national industry award.

The Specsavers store on the city’s High Street scooped the Excellence in Contact Lenses accolade at the Awards for Excellence ceremony.

This ceremony takes place annually, recognising achievements and professionalism across all Specsavers’ UK and Ireland stores.

The locally owned and run Exeter store was commended for its specialist work in assessing eye health, determining the best contact lens type for customers’ lifestyles, and offering support and tailored guidance teaching insertion and removal techniques.

Judges were also impressed by the store’s aim to change lives by offering freedom from glasses to customers of all ages, including children.
