Exmouth Quay’s annual concert of traditional Christmas carols held on Sunday 11 December was a huge success with well over a hundred people joining in the fun.

The Exmouth Town Band, Exmouth Shanty Men, and the  Woodbury Community choir provided the music for the event which was hosted by Martin Nicholls and raised funds for Christian Aid.

Property developer Eagle One, who built most of the quayside homes and are just completing the last 14 apartments at The Point, is the main sponsor of the event. Other traders at the Quay provide help with the fund-raising and the event was centred around the The Point bar/cafe who kept the performers supplied with hot drinks.

Chris Fayers, Director, Eagle One Residential said “ This is a fantastic event for a great cause. It really shows the great sense of community here at Exmouth Quay. ”

Quay resident Ian Dowell has been involved for many years. He said: “The concert has become one of Exmouth’s great open-air festive events and it is always good to share our Christmas celebrations with people from across Exmouth. ”
