Loganair set to launch new service from Exeter

Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, is gearing up to launch a new route from Exeter to Manchester.

The new route is part of Loganair’s growing network from the airport adding to the existing seven services it offers from the base including Newcastle, Isle of Man and Edinburgh.

Starting on 26 October, the new service will introduce frequent flights between the two cities before moving to a daily service from March 2026.

With Loganair’s code sharing agreement with BA, it opens up endless possibilities for international travel on a single ticket, connecting Exeter to Manchester and then the world.

Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “It is a very exciting time for the airline as we launch our new route from Exeter airport, connecting the Southwest to the Northwest.

“Regional connectivity is so important for our economy and for too long this part of the country has been failed by the lack of affordable and connected travel points. With our code sharing agreement passengers can connect Exeter to anywhere in the world via Manchester making international travel easy and convenient.

“We have already received a very positive response to our early ticket sales for these new routes, so we are encouraging customers to book fast to avoid missing out.”

Fares start from £62, and customers will benefit from Loganair’s signature services, including a 21kg total luggage allowance (15kg hold baggage and 6kg cabin baggage), family-friendly policies with discounts for children under 12, and the convenience of a locally based carrier providing reliable connectivity.

Earlier this year, Loganair was ranked second in the Which? annual customer survey of short-haul airlines, achieving a 72% customer score. The airline received a five-star rating for customer service and four stars for booking, boarding, and cleanliness.

More recently, Loganair was named the most punctual for UK arrivals and departures in Q2 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 86% of its flights arriving and departing on time.

Those booking directly through Loganair’s website can also collect Avios, thanks to its partnership with the global travel rewards programme.

Flights can be booked at www.loganair.co.uk or via local travel agents.
