Exeter’s first Yoga for Children classes have now been launched by Annelie Carver (former partner of Michelmores and Ashfords and more recently General Counsel and Company Secretary of Flybe).

Annelie Carver has been teaching yoga to adults for a number of years (www.lookwithinyoga.com) and decided to train to teach yoga to children earlier this year. Annelie had found that most adults normally come to yoga later on in life due to stress, illness or injury and most of her students commented that they wished they had discovered yoga much earlier in life.

Annelie set up Yoga for Children to teach yoga to children from a young age (Annelie yoga for children classes start at age 2 up). Annelie believes that teaching yoga to children will provide children with skills that they can use for life which will hopefully result in less adults suffering from stress, illness and injuries later on in life.

Yoga is fun, it helps with concentration, it improves coordination and balance, it is a great way to build confidence and keep children fit and healthy. It can help children keep calm and can reduce stress and anxiety caused from exams or other pressures. Children love the benefits that yoga brings to them.
