A woman from Exmouth is organising an open evening event in Exeter to present her creative collection of jewellery.

Bertie Wooltorton will be displaying her customised jewellery from her business ‘Gili Jewels’ at The Cove on Thursday 7th March from 2pm-7pm.

She was inspired to set up her own business and create jewellery after visiting the Gili Islands, near Indonesia in 2007.

She uses only genuine gem stones, pearls and natural woods to reflect the beauty of the natural landscape of the Gili Islands. She describes her designs as colourful and different, as well as affordable to women all ages.

Ms. Wooltorton, who studied Art at A-Level, currently sells her jewellery online from her website and has a total of 30 shops stocking her designs, including The Tate Gallery in London.
