Topsham's Outdoor Pool opens on Saturday

Topsham Outdoor Pool will open for the season earlier than ever this year, on Saturday 9th April.

Volunteers, helpers and members of the Topsham Nutters club have been busy scrubbing, bleaching, polishing and planting aroundd the pool ready for opening.

The pool will kick start with a fun session from 10am-midday. The new timetables have arrived and can be collected from the pool or online via topshampool.com

Travellers in Exeter will soon be able to book flights to international destinations including Orlando, Las Vegas, and the Caribbean – thanks to a new codeshare agreement between Virgin Atlantic and Europe’s leading regional airline, Flybe.

From 2 April customers will be able to book tickets through Virgin Atlantic to travel from 18 UK and European airports served by Flybe, and connect onto their Virgin Atlantic flight at Manchester, Glasgow and London Gatwick airport.

The first new route to be operated under the Government’s Regional Air Connectivity Fund launches today with the start of Flybe flights between Exeter and Norwich airports.

Fares start from just £17.49 one-way including taxes and charges, and with a flight time of just over an hour saves around four hours on the equivalent journey made by road or rail. Bookings can be made at Flybe.com

The RAC Breakdown Cover team is warning anyone planning to getaway this Easter to expect a long ‘Bad’ Friday on the roads as over five million motorists take to their cars for some well-earned time away. Dawlish gets ready to ramble!

The pretty South Devon coastal town of Dawlish is readying itself for walkers of all ages and abilities as its inaugural walking festival gets ready to ramble from the start of April.

Holiday park raises thousands for Exeter Foundation

A holiday park in Devon has helped raise nearly £5,000 for the Exeter Foundation Charity to help a host of local good causes.
