Visiting Egypt brings out the explorer in everyone. People have been visiting Egypt since the days of the Greeks and Romans. Its rich history and the iconic landmarks of its ancient era are no less appealing today.

There are two distinctly different sides to tourism in Egypt. There is the Egypt of Cairo and the Nile where you can discover the famous relics from the times of the Pharaohs.

And now there is the more modern Egypt of the Red Sea and Sharm El Sheikh, the most popular destination in this region. It is known for its sandy beaches, high-end hotels, and range of watersports.

Scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular. The Red Sea boasts 250 coral reefs and 1000 different species of fish, making it the perfect destination.

The best month time to go to Egypt is between October and February and it is necessary to get a visa. You can get electronic travel authorisation to enter Egypt before you go.
