Pebblebed Wine and Food Festival hailed as big success

LAST weekend's wine and food festival at Pebblebed vineyards has been hailed as a massive success. 

Adam Issac from The Voice opened the festival and hundreds came along to enjoy the music, drink wine from local producers and camp for the weekend. 

Owner Geoff Bowen said: "The weekend was fantastic, it was what Pebblebed is all about; local music, local wine and just people from the area coming along and enjoying themeselves." 

With harvest time imminent, the vineyard is now calling for volunteers to come along and help picking the grapes; the first picking is this Sunday from 10am until 2pm at the Ebford vineyard.
