Crave, a well-loved independent restaurant from Exeter, is set to open its second restaurant in Bristol this spring, marking the next chapter for the growing brand.

Founded by Sameer Shetty, Crave opened on Exeter’s Quayside in summer 2024 and quickly built a loyal following for its welcoming atmosphere, all-day menus and focus on flavoursome food enjoyed without fuss. Exeter’s original gourmet burger restaurant has created a special Brazil feast to celebrate the football World Cup.

Only available during the World Cup at Urban Burger on Queen Street, each gourmet Brazil burger, priced at £7.95, comes with fries and a free soft drink.

Byron opens its doors in Exeter

Byron, the proper hamburger specialists, will open their first South West restaurant in Princesshay, Exeter on Friday (13 June).

The restaurant serves classic hamburgers, including a regularly-changing special, plus sides, salads and desserts, including vegetarian options, a children’s menu and takeaway.

This week's Exeter Farmers’ Market is cancelled "due to unforeseen problems" (Thursday 12 June).

The disruption to the market is due to the extensive works being carried out on the pavement area at the junction of Fore Street and South Street in the city centre.

It was originally hoped that the market would only need to be cancelled for this week but unforeseen problems mean that the site will now be unavailable next week as well.
