The Love Local Food Festival returns to the historic grounds of Exeter Castle on Saturday 15th August, uniting the region's top producers for a day-long celebration. National recognition for Killerton produce

Killerton Estate has won four national awards for its local produce in the Fine Farm Produce Awards which recognise the quality and sustainability of the food, drink and produce grown on National Trust land and farms.

Ashclyst Dairy, a tenant farm at Killerton, was the overall food winner in England and Wales for its organic natural yoghurt and Killerton estate itself also fought off stiff competition to take home awards for its sparkling cider, charcoal, firewood logs, and Clyston Mill stoneground flour.

Only 20 months after taking over the business, Hanlons Brewery is now happily established in its new location in Half Moon Village, near Exeter. The business has grown from strength to strength and is seen as one of the leading West Country Breweries.

In 2014 Hanlons Port Stout received a Gold Award from Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) South West and was subsequently asked to be a guest beer at this year’s Great British Beer Festival held in Olympia in August 2015. This year's Devon Restaurant Month, which took place in June, was a resounding success. Over 30 establishments across the county participated and the feedback from all was 'outstanding'.
