An international flavour comes to The Strand in Exmouth on Thursday (14 August) and through the weekend, when a selection of traders will be offering a mouth-watering selection of continental foods and other exotic goods.

The global market, which runs up to and including Sunday, features edible treats for all tastes – from lovers of savouryfoods to those with a sweet tooth – plus unusual gift items.

Products range from traditional Italian Biscotti, cakes and soft nougat to tasty Bratwurst sausages from a traditional German Schwenkgrill, while another trader is offering over 50 different types of coffee beans with real flavour.

Other stalls will be offering coats of arms and surname history scrolls, authentic South American jewellery and knitwear, a selection of hand crafted leather diaries and a huge range of characterful metal sculptures.

Market Place Operations Manager Chris Hulley said: “Our traders will be presenting Exmouth with a great experience and an exciting selection of flavours from all across the globe, offering something for the whole family.

“If you’re not sure about trying something new, ask for a sample from our friendly traders. Visitors are certain to find something unique and tasty from our Global Village Market. Come and join us for a fun family day out with a difference”.

Opening hours of the market are: Thursday to Saturday: 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
