The NHS is turning 70 this year, and to celebrate, Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust is holding a family fun day at North Devon District Hospital. The event will take place on Sunday 1 July 2018 from 10am-4pm. Exhibition highlights tales and imagery of life with dementia

A public exhibition will feature poems, cartoons and images created by well-known artists working with people with dementia.

A new play inspired by an imagined meeting between two great leaders of the women’s suffrage campaign will be performed at Exeter Phoenix. As part of the national 100th anniversary commemorating the end of WW1, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity are staging a special concert at Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 16th June, 2018.

The showground at Westpoint, Exeter is a hive of activity as final preparations are made in time for the 123rd Devon County Show on May 17, 18 and 19.

The stewards are briefed, exhibitors are setting up their stands and the stalls, pens, stables and kennels are ready for all the animals.
