Applications are now open for the second round of this creative developmental opportunity for established and emerging creatives across the South West.

A University of Exeter student is already making a big impact in the film industry as the UK’s youngest feature film director, with an acclaimed film critic labelling him as “the next Steven Spielberg.”

At 18 years-old, second year history student, Elliott Hasler, is currently the UK’s youngest feature film director.

The summer’s not over just yet as the Picturehouse Outdoor cinema pitches up in the idyllic canal-side setting of the Double Locks pub for three nights of cinema under the stars.

From 30 Aug – 1 Sep Picturehouse outdoors returns for a weekend of singing, dancing and time travel, with the backdrop of some of Devon’s most beautiful countryside.
