Free Cider and Summer Tunes Come to Devon with a Music Series from Thatchers Cider

Free pints, live music and summer vibes

Thatchers is set to delight music and cider fans heading into venues and pubs across the summer with a national 40+ gig series that will visit Devon throughout August.

A mix of Juicy Sounds DJ nights and Summer Sessions acoustic evenings will be held to celebrate what promises to be a summer filled, not just with sport, but with music too.

Events are currently planned for:

Magnificent Marr performs at Phoenix

Johnny Marr, most famously known as the lead guitarist in The Smiths performed a sold-out warm up show at Exeter’s Phoenix yesterday evening, in preparation for his Glastonbury performance today.

Just before Marr was due to perform, news had spread that he had paid Mansons in Fore Street a visit for some last minute repairs to ensure he was ready to unleash a stellar performance to the Exeter crowd in the Phoenix’s auditorium.

Seaton Air Ambulance Week launches for its 4th consecutive year

Sunday 28 July sees the start of this year’s Seaton Air Ambulance Week.

The event goes on for eight days with a full and fun-packed programme to be enjoyed by locals and holiday-makers alike with proceeds going to Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The gates of Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset were opened this morning, but it was not for the purpose of letting the everyday tractor come through, instead it was opened to let the first of an expected 135,000 music revellers enter the farm to begin the weekend-long party at Glastonbury.

The quiet and peaceful grounds of Killerton House were transformed into a rocking retro feast on 22 and 23 June. Honiton community festival to offer free fun and games

An exciting family community festival is being held by East Devon District Council in Honiton on Saturday 6 July and will feature the official unveiling of a special Jubilee sculpture.
